Most of the above options are designed for use indoors and are free standing. However, there are other options available. These are simple designs, normally with a plate steel base for stability that will display graphics up to a maximum of about 24” by 12”.


There are also banner stands that are specially designed for use outdoors. The benefit of such stands is that they can hold much larger graphics – typically 12 ft or larger – and have weighted bases for stability. If you’re planning an outdoor display, these are an excellent option to consider. The bases can be weighted with water, so they’re easy to empty and transport once the event is over.
